High Desert Second Chance fights food insecurity and empowers families through nutritious food, resources, and education—building a stronger, more resilient High Desert community.

Christina Kenety Kennedy
Christina Keneti is a dedicated community leader and President of High Desert Second Chance, the only centralized food bank in the High Desert region. She also serves as the lead grant writer for both High Desert Second Chance and the High Desert Food Collaborative, supporting over 119 agencies. Under her leadership, the organization operates 11 vital programs, including Financial Literacy, Senior and Veteran Homebound Delivery, and Emergency Utility and Rent Assistance. Christina is also Board President of the Rock’n Our Disabilities Foundation, inspired by her cousin with special needs. As a case manager with CHAN, she provides emergency utility support to local families. She serves on multiple technical committees focused on food rescue and environmental recovery and partners with Azusa Pacific University to bring health and wellness education to the community.
