**Exciting Opportunity: Join Our Board of Directors as Vice President!** Haven for Horses Rescue, Inc. is thrilled to announce that we are accepting applications for the position of Vice President on our Board of Directors. As a dedicated rescue organization, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of animals in need, and we seek passionate individuals who share our vision.
**Position Overview:**
The Vice President will play a critical role in supporting the mission of our rescue, helping to guide strategic initiatives and foster partnerships within the community. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a dedicated team of animal lovers and advocates.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist the President in overseeing board meetings and organizational activities
- Collaborate with other board members to develop and implement strategic goals
- Represent the organization at public events and community outreach efforts
- Support fundraising initiatives and contribute to grant writing efforts
- Help cultivate relationships with donors, volunteers, and community partners
**Qualifications:**
- Strong passion for animal welfare and dedication to our mission
- Previous experience in nonprofit management, board governance, or a related field preferred
